Coincidence pumpkin leaves are shaped like hearts? I think not.
I tried three new recipes today. For lunch, a tomato soup that was absolutely delicious. Simple, fresh, full of flavor, and healthy.
For dinner, a recipe I found on the current issue of Oprah Magazine. Lemon crab pasta. Even the kids liked this one.
And for dessert, plain tart frozen yogurt. Grace and I have recently fallen in love with the plain tart. We loved this recipe, but aren't sure how it compares to the plain tart from the yogurt place. Stay tuned for our taste test.
All three of these were so good, I'll be making them again, soon. Definitely worth trying.
Waverly went for her first swim this afternoon. She even swam underwater. In the pic above she's popping up from a long dive. It's true what they say about water off of a duck's back. It just beads up and rolls off.
We're pretty sure Waverly is the best duck ever.
Finally, this morning, I checked my Sebastopol Goose eggs one last time and put their incubator on lock down. All four eggs look great. Hopefully we'll have some friends for Elizabeth Taylor early next week....

I'm a little offended you said Waverly is the best duck ever. I do believe Yogi, Cindy, Donald and Daisy were the best ducks ever. Even still, I will make the tomato soup recipe.
That is such a cute duck! She looks like a mix of chocolate and lemon pudding. The recipes sound great. I truly do not know where you get the energy.
