This morning, I quickly unloaded Grace's backpack and reloaded with today's lunch, planner, money for school pictures, etc. After the kids left for school, I noticed this drawing on the table. The drawing was on a sheet that read, "In the Spotlight." The students were instructed to draw a picture of themselves, then answer the questions below the picture.
Here's what Grace wrote:
1. The thing I like best about me: I make good cat noises.
2. My favorite color: Red.
3. The thing I like best about my family: My family loves to go bike riding.
4. When I grow up I hope to: Be a dancer, doctor, and painter.
5. My favorite food is: Mahe-Mahe (aka mahi mahi)
6. My favorite book is: The BFG (this is the Bird Field Guide, I think)
7. My favorite sport: Volleyball
8. If I could have one wish come true, I would wish: I would wish to FLY!!

OMG. Cute! I love the first answer. She cracks me up wanting to play volleyball. I see her as more of a coxswain :)
