Found this recipe for broiled grapefruit on Pinterest. I know, it sounds very strange, but if you like grapefruit, even just a little, you must try. I enjoyed an entire broiled grapefruit yesterday morning, yesterday night, and this morning. I made them less butter and sugar than the recipe called for, still seriously good.
Bruce the goose Ryan Gosling got to take their first swim in the luke warm bathtub.
We spent yesterday evening at Tony and Ellen's. While the grown ups were eating, drinking, and being merry...
The kids were hard at work on gingerbread houses.
Everyone was happy with the way their houses turned out, but together they made an amazing Christmas village.

Usually, the kids and I decorate an outside Christmas tree while Ray hangs lights on our house. This year, we enlisted Ray's help with our biggest tree ever! We couldn't have done it without Ray's two story ladder. And, of course, Ray to string the 120 feet of silver garland.
Grace and Carter worked hard hanging ornaments.
They even made sure the inner branches were decorated.

Our masterpiece.
This is how the tree looks from the road. I love the idea of neighbors driving by and finding an unexpected Christmas surprise.
