turkey minus three days and counting...

I finished Carter's Christmas throw this morning. I love it, not in the same way I love Grace's, but the cast of Rudolph just makes me happy.  I can't wait to give the kids their blankets.   

Grace and I finished the placecards for our Thanksgiving table. 

I think they're cute and way more fun than your name tied to a napkin ring. 

Meanwhile, my chicken eggs are due to hatch on Thanksgiving Day. All seven eggs look great as of last night and are officially on lockdown. This evening I saw one of the eggs jolting from side to side quite a bit.

My two geese are due a week from Thursday and both look great. Unfortunately, my one and only white duck egg stopped growing a few days ago which is a shame because we were really looking forward to hatching our first yellow duckling.
