happy halloween

For some reason Carter decided he could not be a gladiator this year, so Ray came home early from work and took Carter costume shopping.  He decided to go with with the black spiderman.  But then, at the last minute, he decided he couldn't wear the mask so we painted his hair black.  Kids. 

Grace was steadfast as supergirl. 

I was Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. 

Isn't she lovely? 

This was the look I was going for with my costume. 

It's the Audrey that I painted and have hanging in my Manhattan bathroom. 

I dropped my camera, again, while we were trick or treating and broke it for good this time.  I had to race my memory stick to the Walgreen's and burn the few photos I'd taken onto a disc.  

 Yes I would love to have more pics, better pics, but am happy to have the few I got before the drop.  It was the gloves. 

The kids raced from house to house and came home with more candy than they could carry.  They were thrilled with their loot and I absolutely loved being Audrey for the night.  I never put a cigarette in my holder.  The kids thought it was my magic wand. 

We all agreed it was the best Halloween ever.
